Driclor is for the treatment of excessive perspiration of the underarms, the hands and the feet. Driclor contains the active ingredient: 20% w/w aluminium chloride hexahydrate PH. Eur. (185mg/ml), and the inactive ingredients ethyl alcohol and purified water. The active ingredient forms a gel matrix in the sweat glands, which reduces the flow of sweat. Driclor takes a few weeks to work, after which it will only need to be applied every few days. Driclor is safe to use and clinically tested. Driclor is not perfumed, nor is it a deodorant. You may continue to use a deodorant as normal. Driclor is often prescribed by doctors to treat excessive sweating. Driclor is safe to use during pregnancy and breast-feeding. Driclor uses a similar active ingredient to standard anti-perspirants, and works using the same type of mechanism but at a higher strength. 60ml roll-on. Directions for use: Dry the affected area before applying. Sweat can react with Driclor and cause irritation. For the first one or two weeks, apply Driclor daily to the affected area. Driclor should be applied first thing at night before retiring to bed, because this is the time when the sweat glands are least active.
