In addition, energy can be saved in the ECO mode, which cuts transmitting power by 80 percent during calls. And with the aid of the new ECO mode Plus, transmitting power is shut off completely in standby and recharging mode and only reactivated when a call is received or made. Future-proof and expandable To make sure they are always up-to-date, the Gigaset SL785 offer a simple means of updating their software or adding functions via the Internet. In conjunction with a Gigaset IP base station, broadband voice transport via HDSP (High Definition Sound Performance) is supported. The base stations of the new Gigasets can operate with up to six handsets. If desired, cordless Bluetooth headsets can be registered or headphones with a Slim Lumberg jack used. Both phones can also be combined with the Gigaset HC450 intercom.
